How much land do I need?

A typical 4kW domestic ground mount system requires approximately 25–30 square metres. Commercial and agricultural systems will require more space depending on the target output.

Are ground mounted systems more expensive than rooftop?

They can cost slightly more due to groundwork and mounting structures, but often generate more energy due to optimal positioning. The improved performance usually offsets the additional cost.

Can I combine ground mounted with rooftop panels?
